MEET THE GRANTEES

Yet, many institutional funders are skeptical of faith-inspired partners; as a result, these nonprofits are less likely to receive institutional grants than their secular counterparts. The 2020 Bridgespan report showed that only 2% of big philanthropy dollars went to faith-inspired organizations.

SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SPIRIT-ROOTED IN IMAGINATION?

It's using ancestral wisdom, focusing on healing, organizing, and power building. Take a look at these organizations applying spirit-rooted imaging to their scope of work, including Social Justice work, Democracy, and BIPOC Healing.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

We believe in investing in projects and organizations that align with our mission of empowering spirit-rooted grantees. Our portfolio includes investments in communities of color, environmental justice, education, and healthcare.

DEMOCRACY

We go beyond traditional philanthropy and use our investments to create measurable social and environmental impact. Our investment strategy includes screening potential investments based on their ESG (environmental, social, and governance) factors.

BIPOC HEALING

In addition to impact investing, we also provide grants to organizations that align with our mission. Our grantmaking focuses on supporting grassroots organizations led by spirit-rooted individuals and communities.

THESE GRANTEES HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD TO THE CONVERSATION.
