WHAT CAN YOU LEARN FROM AND WITH SPIRIT-ROOTED GRANTEES?
A small group of spirit-rooted grantees at your foundation would affect outcomes by helping equip your program officers to include and respect all the identities your grantees hold dear. In many cases, programmatic work that includes spirituality and faith as a component can increase long-term impact. This work is not about promoting one religion or spiritual pathway but living the true dream of pluralism in our society.
HOW CAN INTERESTED FUNDERS PARTICIPATE IN THE POOLED FUND?
FUNDERS CAN COLLABORATE AND ACT TOGETHER IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
GIVE TO THE FUND
The fund size is less important than the diversity and number of funders coming together to build this work. We believe in the power of connection and collaboration and invite funders to demonstrate their commitment by joining this collective effort.
LEARN WITH US
In the coming year, opportunities will arise to engage with the fund's insights and learnings. We plan to develop programming that enables funders to connect with grantees and explore the future of this work, placing spirit and faith at its core. Look for these opportunities as they emerge.
STAY CONNECTED WITH US
Join our monthly Faith and Philanthropy meetings to stay connected and participate in reflections and learnings from the fund. Engage with a community of funders committed to strengthening our collective work.
